Say hello to the Grevillea (Grevillea sp.) — a true Aussie favourite! With their distinctive curled flowers, Grevilleas bring bright splashes of colour to the bush and are a magnet for birds and pollinators.

You’ll often find them dotted through the trails of Yanchep National Park, showing off their fiery red blooms against the green foliage.

🌼🌿 Wildflower Series – Post 4 🌿🌼

These golden gems are known as Yellow Buttons (Chrysocephalum apiculatum). A hardy little native, they form bright clusters of blooms that stand out beautifully against their silvery-grey foliage.

You’ll often see them spreading along the ground in sunny patches of Yanchep National Park — bringing a cheerful splash of colour to the trails.
